Oasis is the first organization at the University of Pittsburgh created specifically for Information Science students. We are constantly working to increase diversity among members, fostering relationships between peers, and connecting students with companies and alumni who are invested in their success.
Our Events
Professional Development
These events aim to help members develop crucial skills that are required in professional settings. This includes (but not limited to!) resume reviews, mock interviews, and company information sessions.
Social Events
These events include homework help sessions, game nights, and casual check-in talks. This is geared to help members build a strong personal network - an essential part of their time at Pitt.
